By using the image of the astronomical clock showing not only the 24 hours of the day but the 12 zodiac signs; this image becomes indicative of the movement of hours and the seasons. CONCEPT:The assignment required using a photograph of a car, to create a realistic copy by employing the pen tool, gradients and avoid using strokes. My car is a 2007 Toyota Prius, so when I found an image of the same make and model; in my color I snapped it up! The angles of the building intrigued me and made the illustration more interesting. CONCEPT:The assignment was to work with a predetermined color palette and advertising copy about the environment. One of the projects in this marketing campaign was the creation of a four-color postcard piece. The use of natural images of the leaves along with handmade paper reflects the ecological message of the client. Added to the postcard was the recycle symbol to show the use of recycled paper and soy-based inks. CONCEPT:The assignment was to create a mock-up web site that would introduce the newest textbook in their inventory. Part of the goal was to create a banner ad as well as text book covers. Incorporated into the design is a recently viewed feature; along with other textbooks viewed by other customers. This feature is patterned after Amazon.com.
